Arrived safely

All well on the first day. Luke dropped us off at the airport, the plane left on time and we arrived in Launceston at 4pm. I slept most of the way so I didn't get too much reading done. I think Pam is still amazed that planes can actually make it without incident and get us all the way across the country. Picked up the hire car (I'll post a photo of it tomorrow) got into the motel and walked the 5 minutes into the city centre. Launceston was in holiday mode and was very quiet, eventually found a pub and had a drink and watched the cricket for a while. Had to get going, found a Coles and stocked up on some supplies for the coming days. Beautiful city, we are opposite the "City Park" and lots of housing is ancient terrace houses.Relaxing now and will sleep well tonight.
